Available in a variety of combinations, our standard size external stable doors may also be the perfect fit for your existing premises.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to lift the look of your yard and our standard units are not suitable, we’re always delighted to manufacture bespoke doors for your building. Older stable blocks will often benefit from refurbishment. Installation of our Loddon stable doors will refresh the exterior of your property and improve its professional appearance.

As with our internal stable doors, our external range offers a comprehensive selection from which to choose. Top doors are fully boarded with an optional galvanised sheet lining for enhanced protection. They can incorporate steel grilles or anti-weave bars to further enhance your horses’ wellbeing while boxed.

Recycled plastic offers a robust bottom door infill option. Virtually maintenance-free, our recycled plastic stable doors are not only environmentally-friendly but also provide enhanced weatherproofing and superior performance. An attractive alternative is our hardwood option. A popular choice for horse stable doors, hardwood lifts the look of brick-built yards. Our steelwork can also be powder-coated in the colour of your choice to further blend in with your stable block’s brickwork.

Galvanised anti-chew strips are a great addition to prevent your horses from chewing their stable doors and door frames. Similarly, a half-galvanised steel bottom door provides greater protection for this heavy-use area which is particularly prone to wear and tear. Consider creating superior ventilation with the installation of an anti-weave grille. Top doors can be hooked back to provide greater air flow through the stable interior while ensuring the safety and security of your horse.



Our equestrian external stable doors can also be manufactured to fit American-style barn installations. External sliding doors, available in both single and double door design, provide a practical and sleek solution for barn entrances. Choose from our range of rich hardwood boards or 100% recycled plastic in a choice of colours. Opt for fully-infilled doors or a combination with glass sections to allow light to flood the interior. Powder-coated steelwork in your chosen colour adds a stylish finishing touch to your external door design.
